JN 2: 13-25 "Zeal for your house will consume me..." Jesus acts out of zeal - love and concern for the special place the Temple held in His Father's plan. JN 2: 13-25 "Zeal for your house will consume me." Jesus' reaction in the Gospel today is one of zeal - a positive enthusiasm due to His love and respect of His Father's House. He has the same zeal for our temples - our bodies and souls - that they should be respected and loved as God's dwelling places. What are we doing during this season of Lent to change the environment in our hearts to reflect our love and respect for God's dwelling places in each of us?
