MT 22: 34-40 "The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments." In other words, our salvation depends on these two commandments.

MT 22:15-21 "...render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." The world (especially society & politics) is under the dominion of God, not the other way around.  Yes, we must support the state, but will the state acknowledge the law of God?

MT 22: 1-14 " 'The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son...' " God desires to save us and we must respond.  Not just show up, but do something.

MT 22: 1-14 " 'The feast is ready, but those who were invited are not ready to come.' " The changes in the words we use at Mass are designed to better reflect the accurate messages in scripture.  Hopefully this better translation will encourage us to be among the "few who are chosen."
